With design + build, we are involved from the initial site study through the final stages of construction. This continuity allows us to protect the integrity of the design, manage budget expectations early, and ensure construction details are executed as intended.

Process and Coordination

 We begin by evaluating the physical and regulatory characteristics of the site, grade, access, solar orientation, vegetation, drainage, utilities, and code. We also assess long term performance factors such as wind exposure, water management, and energy planning. This foundational work informs the overall direction of the project.

As we move into design, the architecture and construction teams collaborate continuously. Decisions are tested against aesthetic goals and build feasibility. This structure prevents rework and keeps drawings aligned with budget and logistics from the start.​

Craft and Technical Execution

We approach construction with the same discipline we bring to design. Structural systems, building assemblies, and material transitions are developed through detailed coordination. We work directly with fabricators and subcontractors to ensure alignment between the design and the built form.
 
Because we understand the full scope of the work, from architectural drawings to permitting to field installation, we are able to identify potential challenges early and avoid costly changes during construction.
 
Every joint, line, and surface is considered. The result is a project where details align, materials perform, and the experience of space is consistent from concept to completion.

Geographic Focus

Our design + build work spans across Texas, including custom homes on rural land in Central Texas and urban residences in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. We are familiar with site conditions ranging from unincorporated hill country terrain to compact infill lots in regulated neighborhoods. We also work beyond Texas, offering full design + build services across the country.
